Change port and check authentication on sharePoint 2010

Any idea how to check the current security authentication and change the port on a sharepoint 2010 site ?

Hi,
you are on the right track.

Authentication:
In Central Administration -> Application Management -> Manage Web Applications select your desired web application (row) and then click in the top ribbon on "Authentication Providers". This will show you the configured providers for this web app depending on the zones (as you can have different providers for different (extended) zones.

Port:
In Central Administration -> Application Management -> Configure Alternate Access Mappings , select the url you want to change. Then change the port and afterwards you have to adjust the port in IIS manager for the web application as well.

Tks. Actually, I want to add an account be the administrator for the site. Can I do  this under Central administration ?

Hi,
yes you can :-)

Central Administration -> Application Management -> Under Site Collections -> Change Site Collection administrators
Thats for the site collections.

Alternative way for the whole web app:
Central Administration -> Application Management -> Manage Web Applications -> select your desired web application (row) and then click in the top ribbon on "User Policy".
Then add the account with "Full Control".
