jqPlot is a plotting and charting plugin for the jQuery Javascript framework. its open source code that allows for highly customizable graphs (and it does support plot points as requested by the OP). Not a bad value for free :)
jChartFX leverages HTML5, CSS and SVG capabilities similar in fashion to jqPlot. Again, highly customizable and seems to have a few more bells and whistles than jqPlot
