run-time error '40011'

I have a Run-time Error '40011' Object invalid or not set - using sql odbc link which updates fox pro database tables
what does this error mean , I have been getting this intermittently ?

if you are getting a 40011, that means that somewhere you are attempting to call a function, variable, or subroutine (object 'member') with a variable that currently does not reference an object

We have finally found the source of the issue and it was corruption in the data. After giving it a clear up the problem disappeared.
