Lync Meetings and Delegates

Hello,

I have a situation in my environment which I am not able to resolve.

I have clients using Outlook for MAC 2011 and Lync 14.0.6

I have setup delegates between a boss and an assistant both in Outlook and Lync.

When the assistant goes to schedule a meeting for her boss using her MAC than she gets the following error: "You cannot create or modify online meetings on behalf of other user accounts in Outlook"

However if I setup the assistant on a PC and I try to create the meeting from there than it works like a charm.

Any ideas would be appreciated. As far as the MAC is concerned we have tried both with MAC OSX 10.8.5 and 10.9

Thanks in advance

The MAC client does not support this capability currently.

Well that would explain a lot. You would think I would have found that posted on some Microsoft site as I need to explain it (officially) to others.

Thanks for your help

Keep in mind that the Mac clients do not support all the capabilities of the PC clients, so there will likely be other use cases or features you run into like this.
