FTPS and Excel

DOEs anyone have knowledge of FTPS and knowledge of using it with Excel??

Not sure what you want here.

FTPS is a file transfer method; in simple terms, its just FTP with added SSL (just like HTTPS is just HTTP with added SSL) and works in exactly the same way.  You can use FTP, FTPS and SFTP to transfer an Excel spreadsheet (using something like FileZilla), and given Excel is able to run VBA,  you can use a VBA compatible activex control (such as This One) to perform a FTP, FTPS or SFTP file transfer from an excel event, however, the two have little or nothing to do with each other in the real world.

Were just told can't use FTP, but have to use FTPS.  The only thing different I think is the secured part?
