Hi,

just a simple question, what's the BROWSE ribbon (ribbon bar on the left) in SharePoint 2013 good for ?  If i click on it nothing happens.  Do I have to configure something to use it properly ? What is its function ?

If you are using one of the other tabs, such as "Page", you can return to a "clean" view just by pushing "Browse". That is all it does. Just gets you back to a browsing and not working condition.
