Hi <br />
We virtualise our window 2003 server and we had done a DHCP reservation for this server. Now I wanted to change the DNS server address and I went to the LAN card properties and assigned the same IP address statically rather than &quot;obtain an IP address manually&quot;<br />

After entering all the IP information, when I say OK . I get The IP address you have entered for this network is already assigned to another adapter IntelXXXx-Base Fast Ethernet Adapter(generic). IntelXXXXx &nbsp;Base Fast Ethernet Adapter is hidden from the network connections folder, because it is not physically in the computer.<br />
Even after enabling show hidden devices in &nbsp;Computer management , I am not able to see this the old LAN adapter <br />

How to I remove this <br />

Any suggestions will be very helpful.<br />
