Start Power Shell from batch file

Hello,

I often write simple batch files to automate tasks, I place a shortcut to them on my desktop, and they always run in a command window. Is there a way to have my batch files start in a Power Shell window instead of a command window?

Thanks,

No, sorry. Powershell interprets Powershell scripts, not Batch. Batch is still interpreted by cmd.exe.
What would be the difference anyway? A console window is a console window. If you like the Powershell colors better, you can just modify the shortcut to the batch file to your likings.

Thanks. That's all I needed to now. I guess I should have thought of that. It is just too early this morning, and I always ask my questions on Experts Exchange first. As you know, there are additional commands and functions available for Active Directory and Exchange with Power Shell. Since Power Shell can also run MD DOS commands in addition to commands related to Active Directory and Exchange Server and Office 365 and cross domain then I may as well start using Power Shell.
