pet store application

Hi,

I was going through below links

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1960280/what-to-learn-for-making-java-web-applications-in-java-ee-6

https://github.com/agoncal/agoncal-application-petstore-ee6

Is there is a way i can run above pet store example on eclipse and tomcat. I found jboss 7 installation is not very easy.  How do i develop and run this example on my eclipse with tomcat 6.

please advise
Any links resources ideas highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

That example involves EJB ,  you can't do it on tomcat .  Tomcat is a webserver , it only serves web pages . For JEE apps , you need to have an app server like jboss, glassfish . Why don't you go with glassfish ? Some eclipse installations are bundled ready with glassfish

sure i will try with glasfish. but challenge is 95% of real time projects i never saw people using glassfish. War file that is developed using glassfish can be used for other application servers like jboss, weblogic, websphere in future if i have to experiment on those servers also.
