What does 'resources :users' do in rails

I'm using the devise gem for a newbie project on rails. Just curious what this means:resources qin config/routes.rb

You may want to check out 'resource routing' on the Ruby on Rails Guide.

In essence, you are declaring all of the common routes for a given resourceful controller.
