your imap server wants to alert you to the following: 1790 That mail is not currently available

A user is getting this on outlook 2013 using aol email.  They are set up to check mail on AOL with IMAP.

Somehow that email got deleted from the server? So now how to get things back in sync?

I set up another POP account and set it to not leave things on the server.  then I synced with the aol server and that emptied the mailbox on the aol server and everything is in the PST.

I am dragging things back into the imap account in outlook and it's pushing it down to AOL.

Is that the right way to have resolved this?  He's got7000 emails and the problem was happening for weeks so who knows which email is the problem.

thanks!

Couple of things.OL2K13 no longer uses a pst as a mail db when set for IMAP,it's now an ost.

The last patches from M$ broke IMAP  on OL2K13,so to get back to square one you need to do this:
