Can you mount the database?

Also, looks like you were trying this command from a remote server/PC. Can you retry the command from the local Exchange server?

Open EMS with run as administrator.
Try to move database path through PowerShell

if same error then,

Please try below
Stop information store
run below command in powershell

move-DatabasePath -Identity 'Database' -EdbFilePath 'New path' -LogFolderPath 'Log file path' -ConfigurationOnly

manually copy/move/rename the EDB and LOG files to above destination

start information store

the -configurationonly switch will make the changes in AD, but not actually move the files for you

Hello,

After the error I wasn't able to mount the database

Here what I did and its working now. Database and Logs moved successfully.

- Reboot the server.
- After the reboot the database was mounted with old path.
- Before changing the path I did the following
      a. Disable Antivirus
      b. http://www.experts-exchange.com/Microsoft/Applications/Q_25280640.html
         Open a Command Prompt window.
winrm quickconfig
Choose Yes
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
winrm enumerate winrm/config/listener
Prompt to create
Choose Yes
This enumerates all listeners that WinRM currently uses.
Locate the listener that has the following parameters and values:
Port=5985
Transport=HTTP

The database was transferred successfully I took 4 hours.

Hope it will help others.

Thanks
