Godaddy hosted Exchange

Hi,
We have a new customer who has just migrated to Godaddy hosted Exchange via local Outlook 2013 clients.  This was set up by another IT company who doesn't seem very reliable.

The customer is reporting very slow mailbox update speeds and Outlook seems to lock up for minutes at a time while updating.
They are in Australia (WA) and I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with Godaddy hosted Exchange over here with speed issues?
I'm only going by what they are saying and haven't yet been on site to investigate this yet but wanted to get some feedback first.
(Of course someone could have easily have misconfigured and it could be trying to sync huge previous local mailboxes etc.)

We've had no major speed issues with Office 365 Exchange hosting  for other clients.

Some of my colleagues actually migrated a client off GoDaddy.com Hosted Exchange and onto Office  365. They used a tool called MigrationWiz to do it.
