we run our office with terminal server from various physical locations.
I have noticed one terminal server provider using something called uniprint.  this installed on both machines makes remote printing quite easy.

is anyone familiar with this printing software ?
is it free or for purchase?

Uniprint is not free and was very popular during NT 4.0 TSE days.  With modern OS such as Win2K8 or higher, you could use Microsoft Universal Printer driver.

if I could.... just a bit of conversation on this universal driver.

does it work the same as uniprint ?

terminal services has  printer redirect, but my experience is that it sometimes does not print out tax returns correctly.  as opposed to an internet printer or the uniprint product.

would this universal print drive also bridge the gap between the terminal and satellite computers.?

I am informed and like computers.. but I am not tech ee      so all the conversation I can get, is appreciated.
