I've tried different methods of making this background stretch and stay fixed while the content scroll over the top. I had it working until I added the content in the left column, which is a jQuery tabs with jQuery slideshow, and now it no longer works. Can someone please help me get this background to stay fixed and stretch to any size window?

Currently I'm using a jQuery plug-in called "Easy Background Image Resizer."

Thank you so much!

You should start with clean html coding.  Placing your url into the validator there are some errors that you need to clean up http://validator.w3.org.  Once fixed, your problem may fix itself.

Otherwise, I like using http://buildinternet.com/project/supersized/

Thank you, I am at the mercy of the code written by the different elements that we've purchased such as the Tabs (Code Canyon), the slideshow (Free online), and then the responsive grid system that my boss sent me to use. I will try to validate the code, but I've had this problem before where the code was written by someone else.

Actually, I was able to fix the background stretching issue.

Thank you so much for your help.

I'm sorry that I made a mistake and selected my own comment as the solution, when I meant to give full credit to Padas. Can you please correct this for me?

Thank you
