Referencing visSectionProp cell via row and column within a shapesheet cell

Within the same shapesheet cell,
I can reference the visSectionProp Label cell in row: rowName as follows:
   prop.rowName.Label  or   by prop.rowName.2  (where the column value of Prop.Value = 0, Prop.Prompt=1, Prop.Label=2, etc)

As a result of automation, I want col.value to be chosen conditionally within the shapesheet.

So I want to set:  user.Col = 2 (for example)
... and then concatenate    prop.rowName.   AND   user.Col   to mean:  prop.rowName.2

I got as far as EVALCELL(User.Colour) to yield the value 2, but..how do I joint that to prop.rowName. to yield prop.rowName.2, all within a shapesheet cell?

Approx equivalent of Visio.Shape.CellsSRC(... ) in VBA.

Thanks,

If the number of choices is relatively small, can you use something like
   ...IF(User.col=1, prop.rowName.Prompt, prop.rowName.Label)...
instead?
