Is it possible to get an email sent to me if the sbs 2008 server restarts?  If so, how?

yes, you have to use a third party email program such as blat http://sourceforge.net/projects/blat/

then call it from GPO

Local computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)

This looks like it will work.  I got blat installed, but do you know what the code should like if I want it to send me an email any time the server is shutdown.  Also should it be a batch file?
