Is it possible to have a dropdown list for user to select a document in SharePoint and load its content on the screen ?

Hi,
perhaps this might be possible BUT it depends on the document format. E.g. you would have to have a control on the page to display inline PDF (depending on the client browser). For instance there is no inline word viewer or Excel viewer.

Therefore I doubt that there is a bullet-proof way (handling various document formats as well as all kind of browsers).
