Linux,      "yum install jre-7u45-linux-i586.rpm"

In RHEL 6.4, if I run the command

yum install jre-7u45-linux-i586.rpm

Which version of Java is installed.  Is it 32 bit 1.7 ?

Yes, typically i386/486/586/686 all refer to 32 bit architecture.
