asked on Messages in Outlook 2010 get stuck in outbox occasionally
Hi,
I am having a re-occurring issue with one of our clients' outlook 2010. Every few weeks or so she will send messages and they will que up in her outbox and get stuck there. if you try and open the messages, outlook freezes up and the only way to stop it is to end the process. This then loses the messages that she sent completely. I have tried re-creating the profile, disabling add-ons and also adding it to the anti-virus exclusions. Does anyone have any suggestions on this issue as its quite important. Her mailbox quota is 7Gb and she has used 4GB. I think its a

Is Exchange involved? Is a Norton Security app installed?
Is email being sent immediately upon being written or a bunch allowed to build up before sending? There is a choice in the Outlook options screen called “Send Immediately when connected” and the option is on by default.
Is there any pattern to what emails get stuck? Attachments? Using Word? etc.

I have given this ago, however the issue has occurred yet again this morning.
Any other ideas?
