Visual Studio 2005 BIDS will not install

My PC environment:            SQL Server Environment:
Visual Studio 2005                SQL Server 2005
Visual Studio 2008                Visual Studio 2005
  SQL Server 2008

I have VS 2005 SSIS projects that were recently converted up to VS 2008.  However, the SQL Server they will run on is using VS 2005.   My DBAs get an error when they deploy this package on the server.  My assumption is the VS 2008 package will not work with VS 2005 on the server.

Back to my PC.  I want to return the VS 2008 package to VS 2005 but I cannot see the BIDS Projects in the new projects options window in VS 2005.  The BIDS projects are visible in the VS 2008 version.  The goal was to open both versions, create a new project on the VS 2005 side and copy and past the objects back down from the VS 2008....no full rewrite (time is a problem).

1. How can I get BIDS projects to be available in VS 2005?
2. what other options do I have?

BTW, I have attempted to repair SQL Server 2008, shared services and full repair.  BIDS was successful but the Integrated Services failed to load.

I don't think you can, ohis. So far as I recall, going the other way, 2008 overwrote parts of 2005. It doesn't take much horsepower, though, so putting it onto an XP laptop would be fine, as you're not actually going to do any massive ETL with it.
