I have some video of a family event (not copy righted) that was transfered onto a DVD-R disk. The data on the disk is in the AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders. I need to make about 10 copies of this DVD but wanted to make sure it would work if I copied it to a DVD+R disk. I don't know the difference between a -R & a +R disk but know thee is a difference. Since this was not a bought DVD, is it as simple as just making the copies built into Windows 7 or do I need special software to make the copies?

if your in USA its reccommended to buy -R  DVDs

the R is The Region setting..

+R does not play in most DVD/Blue Ray players and almost neverin older DVD players or Game Consoles.

You can buy spindles of -R for very cheap at bestbuy or costco or even target or walmart

-R
-R
-R

you'll thank me :)
