backlinks on site

Hi,
I run a site that was hacked a few months back. Before we realized it, the hack inserted spam web pages buried into our site. Those pages had links on them back to spam sites. Because of this Google removed us from their index.
I have since fixed the site, and removed the spam pages the hacker inserted. I also contacted Google and they put us back into their index.

My question is this.
If I go to one of the many backlinks search functions online and and type in my site address, many  spam links show up. There is no link any longer on our physical site. These spam links that show up in these backlinks search sites (like backlinkwatch.com) appear to be sites that are linking TO my site, but my site doesn't link back to them.
Can these type of 'one way' spam links hurt my site? I don't see how they could. There are services/companies out there that say they can remove these types of links. But I don't see how they could do that and also don't see why it's necessary.

Opinions?

Thanks!

If there are sites linking to your site, that you do not want, use the GWT disavow tool to let Google know to ignore them.

How ever make sure that the links actually exist.  There is an old spammer method that puts links in your stats but the links do not actually exist.  The method is used by  scammers selling hits to dummies (mostly russian).

There is no link, they do not need any action. if you think there are a nuisance then just block all traffic to from Russia and you will eliminate most of it.  Don't click the links in your sats to go investigate, that will just encourage more of the same junk.
