No scrolling on embedded spreadsheet

Hey Guys

I have embedded an excel spreadsheet (http://test.bluestarbussales.com/features_leftsidebar%20-%20Copy%20[5].html) on a test page to see how it functions. I like it for the most part but I am able to "scroll" around in the window of the embedded spreadsheet and I do not want that.

In the actual spreadsheet I have limited to the area of the spreadsheet to the area I have typed in. (Right click on spreadsheet tab > View Code > ScrollArea) - This works nicely WITHIN excel, but when I embed it using SkyDrive I can now scroll around.

Any way to fix this? Maybe embed it in a different way?

All I get from the link is a 404 not found error.  So without seeing the page I would gues that the way you brought it in does disables, or drops some or all of the excel controls, and it is effective no longer a standalone object.

sorry

try

Like I said, the excel part of it allows for scrolling and I do not want that. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

The spreadsheet is not actually part of the page document (though there may be some broken part of the Document Object where it has been stuffed with scripting).  It is a free standing web app.  The browser has no control of the rendering, and it is put there with scripting.  To change the behavior you will need to see if it the scroll behavior is being generated by the app or the scripting (I suspect the app).

AFAIK there is nothing you can do with the underlying markup to fix it; It cannot even be inspected.

I don't use Microsoft apps or tools so I will ad this to the Excel topic where they might have some idea of what is wrong.
