Is the Sync Framework still around ?

Hi Experts.

I'm looking to resurrect an old app to use on Windows Phone 8, but so much has changed.

I need the phone to talk to an occasionally connected database (actually a 'usually connected database', that might be without wifi for an hour or so per day)

Previously I used local caching with the Sync Framework.  Is the Sync Framework still in existence?

Ideas please :)

Hi Dodsworth;

I have not used the Sync Framework myself but Microsoft still maintaining a developer site for it at :

Microsoft Sync Framework Developer Center

You can download the latest version from that site as well as examples and documentation.
