I have a client who wants to phase out their old SBS 2003 server.  The server hosts Filemaker 8 Server on it.  They want to maintain Filemaker in their network.

Can anyone tell me if Filemaker 8 Server will run on Windows 7 Pro.  The system reqs for FM8 Server say it can run on Windows 2000, 2003, and XP.  Clearly, the system reqs document is older.

Just hoping for solid info so I can tell the client whether or not they'll need to upgrade their (admittedly) old version of Filemaker.

Thanks

Well, since FileMaker Server 10 is not compatible with Windows 7, I would guess that FMS 8 is highly unlikely to be. http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7453/
