2 x MS Server 2012 STD license on one host, how to activate?

I will install 2x "MS Server 2012 Standard" license on one host in order to host 4 VMs.

To my understand, I can install MS Server 2012 Standard on the host and activate it easily. My question is how can I "add and activate" the second license of MS Server 2012 Standard on the same host?

Thanks
Jack

You don't. Just make sure to use the second license activation key on the second set of VMs.

A bit confused. So I assumed that when I enable the third VM on the host, I will be asked for the second license key?

Every VM will ask for a key, whether it is the first VM or the 10th. The 1+2 licensing that standard allows just means you can legally use the key for thenhost and 2 VMs. It does not automate the guests' activation. Automated guest activation is a feature unique to the datacenter edition.
