Disable archiving for Deleted Items

I have retention policy to move all mail items after 90 days to archive mailbox. Is there way to stop deleted Items from moving to Archive mailbox. I want to know if there is a way on the exchange configuration to do this. Rather than doing it through outlook or OWA.

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do this. You need to create a personal tag and have the user apply that tag, as described here:
