Link presences does not show in SharePoint site for Office 365

I have lync installed on my client and it works fine. My presence shows up when I am on office 365 when in the Outlook section and the Calendar section, but the presence indicator next to my login name at the top right disappears when I go into my skydrive option, or any SharePoint sites. I am mainly concerned with getting presence to show up in Office 365 SharePoint.

Have you checked the proxy address in your AD ?

Is your Lync integrated with O365 ? If not I think you will need to integrate it in order for this to work.

I remember after I integrated our Lync on prem with Exchange on cloud. the Sharepoint started to show the Presence.

I think that lync has to be integrated with office 365 or else I wouldn't see my status when I go to the outlook page of office 365. We have no active directory nor exchange, only office 365 and local installs of office and lync, both acquired by signing up with 365. Lync runs from the client. So when I am on the 365 outlook page, or people page, the admin link at the top right shows a presence next to it, but when I go to SharePoint, the admin link no longer shows any box for presence next to it at alll.

You mean you don't have Lync on prem? If that's the case then you need to talk to Microsoft directly about this! there' might be an issue with Lync connectivity..
