wamp server new install: unable to start services: yellow icon

Hello Experts,

Steps taken:

1. downloaded WAMPSERVER (64 bits & PHP 5.4) 2.4 from wampserver.com
2. installed it as admin
3. tried to start but the icon stays yellow...

I see no logs...

firewall cleared...

any thoughts?

try restarting the  httpd (or apache) service from "services" (start->run->services.msc) and see if it fails.

if yes, Quit your Skype or Teamviewer and then try again.

If it works , You will have to change the default port Skype/TV listens on from their settings.
