How are other administrators managing Skydrive and Microsoft account integration at SMBs?

The default method for linking a Microsoft email account seems like it would not be a good solution; if an email account is created in the users name and they leave the organization, they will still have access to company files in the Skydrive.

We chose to disable Skydrive through GPO.  Files stored locally...

1. From your Start screen, start typing gpedit.msc, and press Enter when finished.
NOTE: You could also press  + R to open the Run dialog, type gpedit.msc, and click/tap on OK.

2. If prompted by UAC, then click/tap on Yes.

3. In the left pane, click/tap on to expand Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, and open SkyDrive.

4. In the right pane of SkyDrive, double click/tap on Prevent the usage of SkyDrive for file storage.

5. To Disable SkyDrive Integration - Select (dot) Enabled, and click/tap on OK.

You can grab the ADMX files for GPO from any 8.1 machine at c:\windows\policyDefinitions
