When I save a javascript file in Eclipse, I get a message saying:

Save Failed

Compilation unit name must end with .java, or one of the registered Java-like extensions.

Why does this happen? How do I get rid of it?

Where in your project are you trying to save this javascript file? A screenshot might help?

Also, check if you have any breakpoints set in the file that you are trying to save. If do you, try removing the breakpoints and then saving.

Yeah, it's just one of those "Eclipse" things, annoying! :)
