Hi

I found the following link on connecting to SAP from VB.net 2010
but it says that you need to have a valid SAP account
Is there a free way to get a SAP account? And possibly connect to some kind of demo
version?

Thanks

No, you need to be a customer.  Are you one?  Is your client one?  Go through the legal channels and you'll find this a lot faster and easier.
