Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

Sorry what does it mean of dell OEM version ?

You mean Dell OEM version of VMware vSphere 5.0 U1 (ESXi 5.0 U1) in step 1 ? This is a vsphere client ?

When you installed the OS where did you download from?

What Dell server do you have?

What Dell Storage controller?

And what are you wanting to do Manage RAID from Open Manage?

Yes, that is the version.

It's strange that it does not state it's for your server, is your server on the VMware HCL?

Check the VMware Hardware Compatability Lists HCL here

The VMware Hardware Compatibility List is the detailed lists showing actual vendor devices that are either physically tested or are similar to the devices tested by VMware or VMware partners. Items on the list are tested with VMware products and are known to operate correctly.Devices which are not on the list may function, but will not be supported by VMware.

Actually the dell open manager I am installed on the vcenter server (this is a IBM server) I opened dell open manger and the ip I put the esxi (dell server) and login id password I put the esxi (dell server) is this correct ?

Andrew Hancock (VMware vExpert / EE MVE^2)VMware and Virtualization ConsultantCommented:
You must ensure that you are using 5.0 version throughout.

If you are using 5.1, you must use 5.1 throughout, and be using Dell OEM 5.1.

If you server is not on the VMware HCL, it's not certified for use with ESXi 5.1.

earlier you stated this was a T710 ?

PowerEdge 11G R41 is on the VMware HCL

my server model R410 doesnt show in below compatility list of vmware esxi 5.1  recovery image, which mean my model can not install dell OEM ? i only can install the vmware esxi 5.1 ?  for the vmware HCL, it shows

Sorry, there were no Systems matching your search criteria. Please refine your search and try again.

Partner Name and Features, i dont know which to choose

do you think you can check for me does R410 can install dell oem 5.1 ?
