Hi

we are running a very old citrix server 4.0.

A group policy is in place to redirect the user desktop enviroment to a shared network drive on another server called DATA.

\\data\sys\public\tsdesktop\desktop

Recently we virtualised  the DATA server which is now called DATA2.

We have changed the folder redirect path in group policy to point to \\data2\sys\public\tsdesktop\desktop

After applying the group policy we refreshed and froced the policy to update. we then tried logging in, however after sigining into citrix, while the desktop is launching an error message comes up stating that it cannot find the path \\data\sys\public\tsdesktop\desktop

does anyone know where on citrix this patch can be upadted to \\data2\sys\public\tsdesktop\desktop

i have checked every tab in the citrix managment console and could not find an area where i could redirect the path.

Please help.

Many Thanks

Have you enabled LoopBackPolicy GPO getting applied to the Citrix server.  If so, check the LoopBackPolicy as you may have the entry in a the GPO.
