When I click an icon below to select Whatsapp for Win Mobile,
it gave a message "application not available.  Thi smight be because
yr phone software needs to be updated, the application is
exclusive to a different mobile provider or the app is not
available in yr region".

What could be the reason?  Thought Win Mobile 7.5 could run Whatsapp

Using this page http://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/nokia/21099118 shows that the Lumia 900 is not supported.

http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/whatsapp/218a0ebb-1585-4c7e-a9ec-054cf4569a79 shows a manual means of installing the app at the bottom left.  You may want to try that but no guarantee of success.

Saw the latest in nokia site to be below and do try to see internet 3g/WiFi is good and system time is in sync too. Though Some has attempted uninstall reinstall restart but doubt it solves that easily.

My Lumia is bundled/pre-installed with MS office (Excel, Word, Ppt)
& Nokia Drive / Map installed.  If I were to reinstall it (or possible
to upgrade it to Windows Phone OS ver 7.8), will these apps
still be there after the upgrade/reinstall?  If not, where can I
get these apps free & reinstall them?
