When accessing a link from an Android device, the user should be prompted whether to use the browser or the app.  So you should not have to go any further than using a standard link:

<a href="https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=oslo&daddr=turku">

There is also the Geo URI for Androids (doesn;t work on iPhones):

<a href="geo:61.684662,9.435539;">Oppland, Norway!</a>

I'm having a little more trouble with Android because of consistency.

What would be the most consistent way to link the following address?

119 W. Oglethorpe Ave. Savannah, GA 31419

Then the following should work fine:

<a href="geo:61.684662,9.435539;">Oppland, Norway!</a>

Try the following coordinates:

32.077307,-81.094522

Link form would be:

<a href="geo:32.077307,-81.094522;">YOUR TEXT</a>

I have href = "geo:32.0772482, -81.0945217;"

Is there an advantage to what you posted?

As long as it works and it supported, then no.
