Hey gurus, just got to a new customers site and behold.  I find a Cisco Pix 515.  They contracted me to make some changes to their config.  However when I try to launch the web PDM I get nothing.  Can anyone assist?

Thanks

Manny Lenis

Looking at the config, I would say that PDM should run, but I would check that it is installed on the filesystem.

type dir at the command line and look for a file starting with pdm.

You may also need to downgrade you version of java. The PDM is based on such old code now that you may need to go as low as 1.4 or 1.2 to get it working.

You could also look at using the command line to configure it or upgrade to one of the newer 5512X or 5515X firewalls. The PIX515s successor, the ASA 5510, is now discontinued.
