I can't access the URL services.mozilla.com from one system (firefox and IE) but I can from another. So it isn't the firewall on my router. What might be blocking it? I have turned off Windows firewall.

I can access other sites.

It turned out to be a DNS issue with my provider, Comcast. The other system worked because the resolved IP addresses had been cached before Comcast's DNS servers went sideways.

I've solved the problem by changing my router's default DNS servers to use Google's public servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Leave it to Google to make everyone else look like fools.

I do not like Comcast ;-)
