outlook 2010 blocked images

I received a legitimate email with images that my company sends using a mailshot. Outlook blocked the image and showed the usual information bar at which point I have the option to allow which I did and everything displays fine.
Each time I open outlook the image still auto displays so I am guessing there is some type of list the image gets added to?
Also I am wondering if I receive a future image from this address will it also display as blocked the first time or should it recognize the email and automatically allow the content

You can block/unblock images for one sender all senders or specific email address, Read more here:

Go to the email, click on the options to show the images,
do not click on Show/Download images, but click on Add sender to safe sender list.

After this, email from this sender will automatically retrieve the images.

I'm not trying to whitelist the sender I am trying trying to find out where the information is stored when an image is selected to download as each time the image is opened after its initially allowed it automatically opens.
