Hello,

I manually removed the DFS replication folder via Windows Explorer. This will not remove the files from their original location will it?

Thanks,

No, will not.
The above operation is just to remove the server from the existing DFS replication group

If you deleted the replication folder, will not replicate.
Just check in DFS Management if the replication still active for that folder or if it was removed.
