Internet Explorer 11 won't copy and paste

I am unable to copy and paste a link or even text from IE11.  If I highlight it from a website and copy it, I can paste it into Word, so I know the clipboard has it.  But it just gives me a blank when I try to copy it back into a forum on IE11.  And of course if I try copying from one website to another it fails.

It's not just links that fail.  Just typing "the quick brown fox" in Word, copying it and then trying to paste it into a forum also fails.

I sometimes get a request to access the clipboard when trying to paste.  I tell it yes, but it still doesn't paste anything.  I've only gotten this problem since upgrading to IE 11.  I suspect some sort of security issue.

I'm an Admin on my computer (and the network).

This is a known issue with several well known BB/Forum softwares, such as IP board or PhpBB, any forums running those will most likely have the issue on I.E - it's something to do with the editors on the forum.

See http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-board/internet-explorer-11-copy-paste-issue-r42941 for example

I believe this is awaiting a fix with the forum software itself (CKeditor used on the software) - so until every forum site updates you'd probably experience this problem for a while.

If you can't live with it I suggest you try another browser, see http://www.browserchoice.eu/  for a selection of popular browsers. I personally would recommend Chrome.

Hope this helps.
