Dropdown bound field issue

Hello, I have a dropdown that is populate with this:

rowsource: SELECT [ScrapCodes].[ScapCode],[ScrapCodes].[Reason] FROM [ScrapCodes];
bound column: 1

When the record is saved the value saved is ScrapCode, but should be Reason.

How can I fix this??

change the bound column to 2
