Can not find XML Schema versioning systems

Hi experts

I am trying to find XML Schema (XSD) versioning system. The reason is that I need to conduct a study on managing XSD versions with all its related issues. Such issues include storing and retrieving the right version, find changes between successive versions, and measuring the quality of the generated version.

For this I have to compare features of my system with already existing systems.

If you can provide me with tools that can perform one or more of the previous tasks that would be great.

Regards

Are you not looking for a standard source control system, but rather something that actually explains the difference between each revision. Since XSD is an XML file, any text-based source control system should be fine (really, any source control system).

If you're specifically looking for differences between versions, you may be looking for a DIFF/MERGE tool, which will actually compare two (or more) files and highlight the changes for you. If you're on Windows, I've been happy with Sourcegear's DiffMerge, though there are as many tools as you can imagine.

If that doesn't address your specific needs, maybe you can provide an example of what you're looking for and we can point you towards a tool that does it.
