Two PC's is a win 7 pro with QB remote web access. One PC works as it should and the other does not. I cannot find a difference.

So here is the basic question: how does one get QB remote web access to work with the current Firefox Browser????  What do I look for?

One the problem computer, does remote web access work if you use Internet Explorer?

Both browsers have security settings under Security and Privacy that you may have to enter the address for remote web access. Check the same browser settings in the working PC.

Check the firewall in the problem PC to see if it is blocking something.

What we found  is this: QB-WebEx remote access Supports IE 8 & 9 and Firefox 3-8.

These Win7 pc's had firefox versions 23-26 installed. If QB remote web access was uninstalled in "add and remove programs"  and then QB Remote Access program was re-entered it would reload the QB webex program and it would work with firefox versions 23 to 26.  IE 10 & 11 would NOT work, only Firefox.

QuickBooks is sometimes late in supporting new browsers. There was a patch to the client application last week that brought in support for IE11.

So if Firefox works for web access, that is probably the way you should go. Then report the problem to Intuit (if you have not already) as they may eventually provide support for newer versions of IE.

THis is the only thing that worked and I hope it helps others. IT is what we found.
