Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit Oracle driver?
To configure the 32-bit Oracle client on 64-bit windows, you cannot use the ODBC administrator from Control Panel and must instead use
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

Would you please guide me in a little bit more details how should I configure the correct DSN if you believe this is the key to fix this problem. I am kind of new to Oracle and worked all the time with Microsoft SQL server. I still can not fix this problem for my company and it looks like nobody can help me in this case. Happy holidays and best wishes for the new 2014 year. Gregory

Let me ask - what is the name of the Oracle client installation executable you used to install the oracle client?

In what folder did you install the Oracle client on the workstations?

Did you configure a TNSNames.ORA file?  If not, what is the IP Address and the name of the Oracle instance and the configured port for the instance?

I really need these answers to help you.

Happy holidays!
