On an SBS 2008 Server running Server 2008 when I create a group policy object and I am in the Group Policy Management Editor and choose Scheduled Tasks I am looking for "Immediate Task (Windows Vista and later)" but I do not see that I only see "Immediate Task (Windows XP)" and "Scheduled Task".  Is there something I can do so I see "Windows Vista" and later?  I need to run the task on Windows 7.
Thanks.

Are you trying GPO preferences to create schedule task for windows 7 ?

You can have 2008 R2 member server \ windows 7 Machine with GPMC installed and from there try to create schedule task for win7 through GP preferences, it should work hopefully.

At least you must have win7 professional so that you can install GPMC on that and from there
you can check if you can get required option
You have to have win7 or windows 2008 R2 management workstation with GPMC to play with
Please check my earlier comment
