How can I get the attached YELLOW column to automatically calculate when users are entering data ?

Maybe something like

That SO link you provided is probably the easiest approach you're going to find. Specifically the second suggestion in the accepted answer, "Just update the calculation completely on the client as the user types..."

What specifically do you find difficult about it?
