I downloaded a Visio file which was located on an Alfresco site where I"m a collaborator.
I made changes and then pressed save and then close.

However, none of the changes went up to the Alfresco site where the document was located.
Where did all of my changes go?

Simple answer - away. Please check, if you have permissions to upload and overwrite documents. Also check in the document history, if your file ist there or not. Additional, next time it might be better to provide a new Name - typical a new Version number - to the file.
