We have two DCs - Window 2003 & 2008. We find that quite a lot of account is locked occasionally after we deploy the password policy.

Although we have already removed the GPO, it seems that those accounts are still logged and we don't have any idea on this. All the workstation are using standard MS application - outlook client, lync, terminal access and kaspersky. Any idea to identify the problem ?

If an account is disabled because of the policy (too many wrong Login attemps), you will have to unlock it manually. Disabling the GPO/Policy will not enable the accounts.

I mean the account is locked suddenly while the user is working on their workstation.  They don't enter any password incorrectly and we need to unlock their account.

That's why we try to disable the account policy first to identify the problem. Any advise ?
